It is a normal component of most body tissues, especially those of the brain, nervous system, liver and blood and is needed to form the sex and adrenal hormones, vitamin D and bile (a digestive secretion required for fat digestion). A high level of blood cholesterol, however, increases the likelihood of developing health problems such as heart disease.

Cholesterol comes in two main varieties: low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (commonly called “bad cholesterol” — remember L for LOUSY), and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (“good cholesterol” — remember H for HERO). LDL cholesterol is one of the components of vessel-clogging plaque. Over time, plaque can incorporate calcium and other substances that make the plaque hard and brittle. If the plaque deposits grow large enough, they can block a blood vessel. In addition, the brittle plaque can break off, travel through the blood stream, and form a clot anywhere in the body.

Glutathione cholesterol:

Glutathione being the body's master antioxidant sweeps all the toxins out of our system glutathione is produced via the foods we eat. Increasing our depleted Glutathione levels helps lower cholestrol and helps in the treatment of many other Illnesses.

Feeling tired and run down?

ARE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE ON THIS LIST?

MEDICAL CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH LOW GLUTATIONE LEVLES

GENERAL~ Obesity ~ Immune signaling ~ Endothelial dysfunction Alcoholism~ Inflammation ~ Heavy metal poisoning CARDIOVASCULAR~ Angina and spastic angina ~ Unstable angina ~ Heart attacks Positive stress tests~ Reperfusion after cardiac bypass surgery PULMONARY~ Emphysema (COPD) ~ Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) ~ Asthma ~ Muscle wasting in COPD~ Chronic bronchitis ~ Tobacco abuse NEURO/PSYCH~ Migraine headaches ~ Alzheimer’s ~ Parkinson’s ~ Multi infarct dementia ~ Autism~ ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) ~ Bipolar disease ~ Schizophrenia~ Lou Geri’s disease ~ Huntington’s chorea ~ Multiple Sclerosis (MS) ~ Depression OPTHAMOLOGY~ Cataracts ~ Macular Degeneration INFECTIOUS DISEASE/IMMUNOLOGY~ Hepatitis A, B, and C ~ Herpes simplex ~ Herpes zoster/shingles ~ Influenza and Bird Flu ~ HIV ~ MRSA ~ Common viral infections (upper respiratory, gastroenteritis) RHEUMATOLOGY~ Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) ~ Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)~ Multiple Sclerosis (MS) ~ Systemic Sclerosis (Scleroderma) Syndrome ~ Behcet’s Syndrome ~ ME/CFS ~ FibromyalgiaDERMATOLOGY~ Wrinkles, sagging ~ Acne ~ Psoriasis ~ Atopic dermatitis ~ EczemaONCOLOGY Every cancer studied including:~ Brain ~ Head and neck ~ Thyroid ~ Lung ~ Esophagus ~ Stomach ~ Intestine ~ Liver ~ Pancreas ~ Kidney ~ Uterine ~ Ovarian ~ Prostate ~ Leukemia (acute and chronic)~ Lymphoma ~ Multiple myeloma ~ Others OB/GYN~ Infertility ~ Spontaneous abortions ~ Pre Menstrual Syndrome

Excerpt from GLUTATHIONE Your Best Defense Against Aging, Cellular Damage and Disease by Dr Robert H.
